1. Introduction
Congratulations for purchasing this PUKY go-cart. You have bought a product
that will give your child pleasure and fun. The information in this user manual
will help you operating the new go-cart in a safe way and inform you how to do
service work. If you have any questions or encounter any problems please con-
tact your local dealer or visit our web site at: www.puky.de.
2. Getting started with your go-cart
Your local dealer assembled the go-cart, so it is ready for use and does not
require any adjustment procedures. Ask your local dealer if he had performed
a safety check.
3. Parent's responsibilities
This go-cart was manufactured in compliance with European Norm EN 71, and
carries the CE symbol.
If your child uses the go-cart for the purpose it was designed for, there will be
only a minimum risk of hazard when riding the go-cart. Remember, children's
natural playing needs and their temperament may cause unforeseen situations
which can be dangerous and result in serious injuries. This is not the liability of
the manufacturer. So, do teach your children how to use the go-cart properly and
direct attention to potential risks.
4. Warnings
It is essential that closed shoes are worn when using the go-cart. Do not wear
loose clothing, as this might be damaged by the rear wheels. Long shoelaces
could get caught up in the pedals. When reversing quickly, the go-cart could tilt
backwards if the brakes are applied sharply. If children use the go-cart, care
should be taken that they are nowhere near stairs, hilly terrain, swimming pools
and other water. Surrounding stairs and steps should be suitably cordoned off to
prevent children ascending or descending these.
5. Use
Please use the go-cart in a suitable play area or safe environment. The go-cart
does not correspond to German Road Safety Standards and must not be used on
public roads.
The total loads permissible for this go-cart are as follows:
