THIS INSTRUCTION MANUAL SHOULD BE STORED IN THE PRIMA FIX
IMPORTANT! KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE PRODUCT
AND KEEP THEM FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. THE SAFETY OF THE CHILD
MAY BE AT RISK IF THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT FOLLOWED.
• The Prima Fix is a child retention system belonging to Group 0 (up to 10 kg).
• Never install the seat on car seats fitted with a front AIRBAG without previously disconnecting it.
• This seat should always be installed facing backwards. It should be secured using the Isofix
connectors and the Top Tether or with the three-point seat belt with or without retractor of
the car, approved under UN/ ECE-16 regulations or equivalent standards.
• The safest position for the safety seat is on the back seat of the vehicle.
• The original equipment must not be modified.
• After an accident the safety seat should be inspected or replaced.
• Make sure that the fold down seat or the doors of the vehicle can not damage any
part of the seat.
• The inside of the vehicle can reach very high temperatures in sunlight. It is advisable to
cover the safety seat when it is not in use, to prevent it from possible burning the child.
• The straps should never be twisted.
• Always use the safety seat, even on short journeys, and never leave the child unattended
in the vehicle.
• Take the safety seat out of the vehicle when it is not going to be used and keep it out of
the reach of children.
• It is advisable to securely fasten any luggage or objects that may cause injury in the event
of a collision.
• In the event of an emergency it is important that the child can be unfastened quickly,
therefore the seat belt clasp must never be covered up. It is advisable to teach the child
that he must never play with the clasp.
• We guarantee the safety of the product when it is used by the original buyer, do not use
second hand safety seats or devices.
• The other passengers in the vehicle should also be secured with their seat belts, as in the
event of an accident they may get flung about and injure the baby.
• Do not use the safety seat without the upholstery or with other upholstery different from the
original one.
• Regularly inspect the clasp, harness and other elements that may become loose or suffer
from wear and tear through use.
• The upholstery should be hand washed, using mild soap and warm water; or machine
washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC and without spin drying. Do not use chemical
cleaners (dry cleaning).
• Make sure that the upholstery of the vehicle seat does not make it difficult to tighten the
seat belt.
• Remember that you are responsible for the child's safety.
