3.5. safety information

Always monitor the entire work area around the nut splitter.
Inform all people near the work site – whether they are involved
or not – about the work to be performed.
All persons in the vicinity must take the same protective measures
as the user.
Under no circumstances should the nut splitter be used for pro-
cesses for which the nut splitter is not intended.
Hydraulic nut splitters may only be used by qualified persons. The
user must be trained and instructed in the use of hydraulics.

The appropriate offset blade screwdrivers are supplied for driving
the two grub screws. The small grub screw fixes the chisel in the
nut splitter. The larger grub screw on top of it protects the thread-
ed hole from dirt.
