6. CLEANING
6.1. THE CAST IRON FRONT SECTION.
Preferably clean when the Fireplace is cold
using a slightly damp cloth.
6.2. THE GLASS PANE.
Fireplace window cleaning liquids are quite
effective products.
Never try to clean the glass while the fireplace
is working. We recom mend using EQUATION
window cleaning products.
Replacing.
The glass pane in your Fireplace is
m ade of therm al m aterial, especially manufactured
for log and/or coal fireplaces. If it should break due
to an accident, it must be replaced by another glass
pane
with
the
same

appropriate glass pane, together with instructions to
assem ble and seal it.

6.3. THE DEFLECTION PLATE.
1. Slide
the
deflection
(direction "B") until the fixing elements on the
sides m atch the notches. This will allow you to
rem ove the plate (direction "C").
2. Clean both sides of the deflector plate once a
season using a hard (wire) brush. T his will
facilitate the transm ission of air through the
plate and avoid its deterioration to a great
extent.
3. Install the deflection plate using the sam e
steps as above but in the opposite order.
6.4. JOINTS AND SEALS.
We recom mend a visual inspection of the
state of joints (doors, glass...) and seals at the
beginning and half-way through a season to check
whether they need replacing or repairing.
