The surface of your Com pact Fireplace is protected by a coat of special anti-heat
paint that resists high temperatures. When lighting the fireplace for the first few
times, the said paint m ay em it some fumes. This is norm al and is due to the
evaporation of certain components of the paint while it adapts to the heat. We,
therefore, recommend ventilating the room until this phenomenon ceases to
appear.
