Agri-Alert 800EZE – Quick Installation Guide
Step 1. Installation
Install the Agri-Alert in a location where a
telephone jack, 120 volt AC power outlet,
and proper grounding connections are
readily available.
Step 2. Wiring
Refer to the wiring diagram overleaf.
(Section 1.3) – Install and connect all zone
sensors and the siren. If the alarm system
uses the phone, connect the phone line
to the Phone Plugin Card and then insert
the card in the PHONE CARD port of the
Agri-Alert. If the system uses an outside
temperature sensor, connect the sensor to
the Outdoor Plugin Card and then insert the
card in the OUTDOOR port of the Agri-Alert.
These 2 plugin cards are optional.
Step 3. Earth Ground
(Section 1.3.9) – Make proper ground
connections. A faulty earth ground
connection immediately voids the system
warranty without further notice.
Step 4. Power Supply
Install the battery and then power up the
Agri-Alert with the 16 VAC wall transformer
(note that the system will not boot when
connecting the battery).
