Install the rear light.
Close the rear flap and fold
the white tabs at the bottom
to secure the flap.
TotRod:
If you purchased a light, install it into the tab at the rear of the trailer.

ATTACH THE FLAG.
• Assemble the flag.
• Fully insert the flag into the button
hole on the rear hitch side of the
trailer cover.
• Check to see that it is inserting into
the sleeve on the inside of the
trailer.
Always ride with the flag for maximum
visibility and increased safety.

CHECK THESE 5 POINTS BEFORE LOADING PASSENGERS!

Tension
adjuster nut
is secure.
Pin is inserted and
clasp is closed.
If the hitch does not fit as described, do not proceed until you contact your
Yakima dealer for assistance. A poorly fitted hitch may become loose which
may cause serious injury or death to passengers and rider.

Quick-release
lever is closed.

Safety strap is
secured from bike
frame to hitch arm.

THE LIGHT:
• Install two AAA batteries (not
included) by removing the back
cover of the light.
• Turn the light on and off by
pushing the button.
• CLIP the light to the black tab at
the rear center of the flap.

Hitch pin is in bumper
wing and is clasped.
