3.2 Built-in safety systems
The built-in safety devices must be regularly checked and tested by an electrician as described
in the table below.

1. Main switch (power switch)
By actuating the main switch, the
TOPITEC
®
AUTOMATIC is connected to /
disconnected from the power mains. The main switch
is located at the mains filter.
Danger
Before carrying out cleaning, maintenance or
repair work, switch off the main switch and also
disconnect the power cord from the mains socket.
2. Power supply
The TOPITEC
AUTOMATIC power supply system inside
®
the device consists of a 3 conductor, 1 phase system with
a GREEN/YELLOW PE conductor.
3. Earthing
The earthing of the electrically conductive components of
the TOPITEC
AUTOMATIC must be checked at regular
®
intervals.
Warning
The device owner must ensure that unauthorised persons (i.e. persons who
are not authorised to operate or service the device) are prevented access to
the device.
Operating and maintenance personnel (instructed persons) must be trained
and instructed at the location of operation of the TOPITEC
