sAfety instructions - generAl
• Please read these instructions carefully and retain them for future
reference.
• Use this appliance solely in accordance with these instructions.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervisionor instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than
8 and supervised.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
• Have any repairs carried out solely by a qualified electrician. Never try to
repair the appliance yourself.

Certain parts of the appliance may get hot.
Do not touch these parts to prevent burning yourself.
• Check whether the mains voltage is the same as that indicated on the model
plate on the appliance before you plug it in.
• Make sure the socket into which you plug the appliance is earthed.
• Always remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use.
• When you remove the plug from the socket, pull by holding the plug, not the
cable.
• Check regularly to make sure the cable of the appliance is still intact. Do
not use the appliance if the cable is damaged. A damaged cable must be
replaced by a qualified electrician.
• Certain parts of the appliance can become hot. Do not touch them, as you
may burn yourself.
• The appliance needs space in order for heat to escape, thereby preventing
a risk of fire. Make sure that the appliance has sufficient space around it,
and does not come in contact with flammable material. The appliance must
not be covered. Make sure the air vents are not covered or blocked.
• Make sure that the appliance and the cable do not come in contact with
sources of heat, such as a hot cooking hob or naked flame.
• Make sure that the appliance, the cable and plug do not come in contact
with water.

• Place the appliance on a flat, stable surface where it cannot fall.
