Introduction
Before beginning installation or maintenance, please read this manual to ensure correct use of
the product. Keep the manual in a safe place for future reference.
The VA / VAS rapid initial air vents can be used for water piping systems up to 1.0 MPaG
(150 psig). These models rapidly vent air at start-up for moderate to hot water. After venting the
initial air, the vent can then serve as a vacuum breaker.

For products with special specifications or with options not included in this manual, contact TLV
for instructions.

Note: Once the valve closes after discharging initial air, it will not open again, even if air
accumulates inside the product, until the internal pressure drops to near atmospheric
pressure.
If air is expected to accumulate in the piping during operation, use together with an
automatic air vent.

Bitte lesen Sie die Betriebsanleitung vor Einbau und Inbetriebnahme sorgfältig durch und
bewahren Sie sie für späteren Gebrauch an einem leicht zugänglichen Ort auf.
Die Schnellentlüfter VA / VAS werden zur automatischen Anfahrentlüftung in Rohrleitungssystemen
für Wasser, mit Betriebsdrücken bis zu 10 bar ü und niedrigen bis mittleren Temperaturen
eingesetzt. Nach Beendigung des Entlüftungsvorgangs wirken sie auch als Vakuumbrecher.

Wenden Sie sich an TLV für Sonderausführungen, die nicht in dieser Einbau- und
Betriebsanleitung enthalten sind.

Anmerkung: Wenn sich dieser Anfahrentlüfter nach Abblasen der anfänglich vorhandenen Luft
geschlossen hat, öffnet er sich nicht wieder, auch wenn sich weitere Luft im System
ansammelt. Er entlüftet erst wieder kurz bevor der Innendruck auf den Atmos-
phärendruck abgesunken ist.
Falls mit Luftansammlung im System auch während des Betriebs zu rechnen ist,
muss zusätzlich ein automatischer Entlüfter eingebaut werden.

tuyauteries à eau jusqu'à 10 bar. Ces modèles purgent l'air dès le démarrage du système, pour
des circuits d'eau tiède à chaude. Après la purge ils peuvent également servir de casse-vide.

Note: Une fois que la vanne se referme après avoir expulsé l'air présent lors de la mise en route,
elle ne s'ouvrira plus jusqu'à ce que la pression interne soit proche de la pression
atmosphérique, même s'il y a accumulation d'air à l'intérieur.
En cas d'accumulation d'air dans le système pendant l'operation, installer aussi un purgeur
éliminateur d'air automatique.
