To pull the mains plug out of the power socket, always pull on the mains plug,
and never on the power cable.
Disconnect the mains plug from the power socket ...
... after every use,
... if there is a fault,
... when you are not using the appliance,
... before you clean the appliance and
... during thunderstorms.
In order to avoid any hazards, do not make modifications to the appliance.
You also must not replace the power cable yourself. Repairs must be carried
out exclusively by a specialist workshop or in the Service Centre.
Never attempt to remove dust or foreign objects from inside the appliance
using a pointed object (e.g. with a tail comb).
DANGER - Fire hazard
Never leave the appliance unattended while it is plugged in.
Risk of ignition - flammable foam preparations, sprays, gases or highly flam-
mable substances - e.g. synthetic netting - must not be placed or used in the
vicinity of the appliance.
Follow the product instructions of the respective manufacturer.
Do not use petrol, paint thinner or other highly flammable substances for
cleaning.
The appliance must not be covered with towels or similar.
Ensure that no foreign objects such as hair or similar block the ventilation
openings.
Do not use the appliance outdoors or in places where spray cans are used.
DANGER! Risk of burn injuries
Do not bump against the appliance during use.
Do not touch the hot surfaces of the appliance.
Allow the appliance to cool down completely before you clean it or put it
away.
The water boiler is suitable and approved exclusively for use in the hair
steamer P71 steam appliance.
Without the steam dome and steam shower mounted, hot steam comes out
of this appliance. Never operate the appliance without the steam dome and
steam shower mounted.
Without the seals mounted, or with damaged seals on the water boiler, hot
steam comes out of this appliance. Do not insert the water boiler into the ap-
pliance or operate it without seals.
Fill the water boiler with water only. It is not permitted to use scents or addi-
tives. Scents & additives can have a negative impact on the treatment result,
may be harmful to health, or may emerge from the steam shower as hot liq-
uid or foam.
The water in the water boiler may be hot after operation. Before cleaning the
appliance, allow the water in the water boiler to cool down.
Foaming detergent emerges from the steam shower as hot liquid / foam. Do
not clean the water boiler and steam shower with foaming detergent.
Hot steam flows out of the steam shower during treatment. Do not touch the
steam shower – particularly the steam outlets.
The water boiler is hot when removed from the appliance. The cover of the
water boiler protects your hand against any hot steam escaping. Only remove
the water boiler from the appliance by gripping the handle.
Only use appliance on a level surface.
