•
While turning the crank, repeatedly move the lever (H) from the "OPEN-CLOSE" to the
"TILT" function position and back so that the parasol is intermittently opened and lifted.
This ensures that the parasol opens properly and with ease.
•
Always open the parasol fully. The parasol is fully opened when the canopy is stretched
taut.

Tilting parasol
To tilt the parasol, proceed as follows (see also fig. 4- 2):
•
Set the lever to the "TILT" function position (see figure).

4.3
Rotating parasol

Strong wind and gusts can damage the parasol
➢ When the parasol is tilted, the surface exposed to wind and
gusts is increased significantly. In windy conditions, always
close the parasol and secure it with the strap.
➢ If the parasol is at an angle, winds and gust can lead to
damage to the parasol structure and might impair its stability.
There is thus a risk of injury.
Rotate the parasol with special caution
➢ Watch the parasol when rotating it.
➢ Avoid contact with obstacles such walls, trees, etc.
Close the parasol with special caution
➢ Do close the parasol in windy conditions.
➢ Ensure that there are no obstacles (walls, table, trees, etc.)
within the closing range of the parasol.
