Assembly of cross base
To assemble the base plate, proceed as follows (see also fig. 3-1):
Place the two cross bases (A + B) onto each other as shown.
Bolt both parts of the base plate together with the rotary plate to the tube (C). To do this,
use the screws M8x20 (J) and one washer for each screw.
3.5
Assembly of parasol
To install the cross base and the parasol, proceed as follows (see also fig. 3-2 and 3-3):
Position the cross base where you wish to place the parasol.
Make sure that the ground under the base is firm and level.
Working in a team of two, place the paving slabs weighing at least 25 kg (50 x 50 x 5 cm)
in the cross base as shown. The total weight of the four paving slabs must be minimum
100 kg.
Screw the top (F) to the parasol (1).

After assembly, the mast tilts backward by approx. 3°.
This is intentional and thus not a reason for complaint. The angle
ensures that the mast tilts slightly forward when the parasol is
opened. In addition, this arrangement enhances the visual impact
of the product.
The parasol weighs approx. 29 kg.
➢ Persons must never carry loads of more 23 kg on their own.
➢ To lift and carry the parasol, always work in teams of two, or
use suitable lifting gear.
➢ Otherwise, you might suffer damage to your health (e.g. back
strain, injury from falling loads).
