•
Position the direction lock at the top end of the tube so that the arrows point in the
direction shown in the figure. This ensures that the mast tilts backward by approx. 3° (2).
•
Working in a team of two, carefully place the parasol (D) as shown on the tube. Make
sure that the parasol is properly aligned. Prevent the parasol from falling, as this could
damage it (3).
•
Secure the parasol (D) with the clip (G). To do this, tighten the screw M8x25 (I). The clip
also serves as the holder for the lever attached to the rotary plate with the tube (C) (4).

Operation
For efficient use of the parasol, it comes with the following adjusting functions:
•
Tilting parasol
•
Rotating parasol
These functions allow for optimum shading.
4.1
Opening parasol
To open the parasol, proceed as follows (see also fig. 4-1):
•
Insert the crank (E) as shown in the hole in the mast and push it in to the stop (1).
•
Insert the lever (H) as shown in the hole for the "OPEN-CLOSE & TILT" function in the
mast and push it in to the stop (1).
•
Turn the crank clockwise to open the parasol.
Strong wind and gusts can damage the parasol
➢ Tilting the parasol too far significantly increases the surface
exposed to wind, so that the parasol might become damaged
or topple over in windy weather.
➢ Damage resulting from this is not covered by our warranty. As
the user, you are responsible for using the parasol only as
intended.
Open the parasol with special caution
➢ Do not open the parasol under windy conditions.
➢ Make sure that the braces of the parasol do not become
jammed. It may be necessary to pull the ends of the braces
slightly outward.
➢ Ensure that there are no obstacles (walls, table, trees, etc.)
within the opening range of the parasol.
