MOUNTING
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES
ALWAYS mount the light to a secure approved truss with sufficient load bearing capability to
ensure a safe installation.
ALWAYS use a galvanized steel wire as a secondary safeguard to prevent injury to property or
persons in case the primary mounting mechanism fails. 12 gauge stranded steel utility wire will
serve as an adequate safety cable for the ORION products lights weighing less than 12 kg / 25
lbf.
This secondary safety attachment must not interfere with positioning of the light.
ALWAYS ensure C-clamps are fully tightened with thread-lock adhesive and properly orient the
C-clamps for maximum security;
ALWAYS perform periodic safety inspections to ensure the installation is safe and secure
Improper installation can result in bodily injury or death. If you are not qualified to attempt the
installation get help from a professional structural rigger.
