ORLASER105 – Vortex RGB / ORLASER106 – Pinwheel RGB / ORLASER107 – Odyssey RG
General Information:
Orion Laser Tracers are designed for indoor use only; these units should never be exposed to rain or
excess moisture. Although properly vented and cooled, this laser effect should always be used in a
ventilated space, away from external heat sources.
Like all Class III A lasers, never look directly at the laser emitter as serious eye injury can occur. Unit
should never operate for more than two hours (continuous) without a brief cool down period to save
heat stress damage to laser diodes.
The Lasers should never be connected to any kind of external AC dimmer, and operate only at intended
voltage. There are no user serviceable parts inside. Should the Scanner fail, it should be referred to
qualified service technician for repair.

Standalone Operation
Set dipswitches (see chart) to either Sound Active or Auto Mode and power up unit. After brief reset
the unit will begin to operate. In Auto mode, the Orion Laser will run randomly though its pattern
presets. There is no laser off in auto mode.
In Sound Active mode, unit will respond to music at the microphone input and activate. Set sensitivity
to ensure unit is active to music source only as desired. The unit will step though its presets in response
to audio source and shut off when no music is present.
