8. Analogue connections
8.1 Aux input
To play music, external devices such as e.g. MP3 players, DVD players or game consoles can be con-
nected. To do this, please select the source "Auxiliary Input" in the main menu.
8.2 Line-out
You can use this analogue audio output to connect the radio to an external amplifier, for example.
The volume of the radio can be turned down completely, this has no influence on the playback vol-
ume of the external amplifier. The corresponding connection cable is included in the scope of delivery.
Note: Switch off the radio before connecting an external device to it.
9. System settings
In the system settings you can change the settings of the radio and call up important information
about the radio. To do this, press the <MENU> button and select "System Settings".
9.1 Sleep
With this function you can switch the radio to standby mode automatically after a set period of time.
You can choose between 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 or 120 minutes, "Sleep Timer Off" deletes the previ-
ously set period of time. To do this, press the <MENU> button while the audio source is selected and
select "System Settings".Use the <UP> or <DOWN> to navigate in the menu and select "Sleep".
Using the <UP> or <DOWN> keys in the "Set Sleep Timer" menu "Sleep" select the required time
period and confirm with the <OK> key. Exit the menus again with the <MENU> button.Alternatively,
you can use the <Z
> button on the remote control to set the time period.
ZZ
The remaining time is shown in the bottom left of the display, with minutes running backwards.
9.2 Alarm clock
This radio has 2 individually adjustable alarm times. Press the <ALARM> button on the remote con-
trol and select "Alarm 1" or "Alarm 2" to make the settings.
Alternatively, you can also call up the alarm clock from the system settings. In addition, a setting on
the radio is possible using the <ALARM> button and the <NAVIGATE> knob. In standby mode, the
saved alarm clocks of the <ALARM> button can be activated and deactivated. The following options
