Obligations to the Customer

The operating authority of the electronic pressure switch has to assure that
only persons may operate this device, who are common with the rules of wor-
king safety and accident prevention, who were trained in the operation of this
device, and who have read and understood this manual completely. Operators
are obliged to obtain the rules of working safety and accident prevention and
all hints and regulations given in this manual.

Authorized Personnel for Installation

Persons are regarded as authorized, who have a qualifi ed education as electri-
cian, technical experience and knowledge of the important norms and regulati-
ons, and who have read and understood this manual completely. The should be
able to estimate their duties and recognize possible danger at an early time.

Persons are regarded as authorized, who were trained in the operation of this
device and understood this manual completely.

Description of the Pressure Switch

The electronic pressure switch Multi-EPC is a latest generation pressure
measuring and switch device. Its pressure measuring cells are successfully
proven for years.
The device has a four-digit display, all programming is done using three keys.
Two light diodes indicate the status of one or two switch outputs. The device

is deliverable in standard (Multi-EPC 100) and DESINA conform version
(Multi-EPC 200).
Switch-on and -off pressure values, switch delays and the analog output can be
confi gured freely. You can program variable hysterese and window functions
in a clear operation menu.
