After Processing
Please Note!
■
Always switch off the device with the
On / Off button first before the
mains plug is pulled out of the plug
socket. One exception is when the
device has fallen into water. In this
case, pull out the mains plug first.
■
Do not use any metal kitchen uten-
sils to remove the food from the ice
cream container. These could scratch
the ice cream container.
■
Once ice cream has thawed, it should
not be refrozen.
1. Pull the mains plug out of the plug
socket.
2. Twist the lid anticlockwise and take it
off.
3. Pull the ice cream container out of the
device by its handle (Picture F).
L
Condensation may form on the
outside of the ice cream contain-
er and freeze while the device is
operating. This may make it more
difficult to remove the ice cream
container from the device. In this
case, wait a little while before
removing the ice cream container.
4. Carefully remove the stirrer insert.
5. Serve the food using the ice cream
scoop (2) that is provided.
6. Clean the used accessories after each
use to prevent germ formation (see
the "Cleaning and Storage" chapter).

CLEANING AND STORAGE
Please Note!
■
The device and accessories are not
dishwasher-safe.
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive
cleaning agents or sponges to clean
the device. These may damage the
surfaces.
•
Wipe down the housing of the ice
cream machine (1) with a damp cloth.
Use a little detergent if necessary.
•
Clean the rest of the accessories with
clear, warm water and detergent.
•
Allow all parts to dry completely or
dry them before they are assembled
or stored away.
•
Store the device horizontally in a
cool, dry place which is out of the
reach of children and animals.
BASIC RECIPES
This chapter contains a few simple
recipes to get started with this ice cream
machine. However, there are countless
varieties of ice cream that can be made in
this device. Don't be afraid to try whatev-
er flavour you like!
Please Note!
•
Adding alcohol to the ice cream
mixture may prevent it from freezing.
You should therefore only add alcohol
once the ice cream has the consist-
ency you want. Then allow the stirrer
insert to stir a few more times.
•
Only ever use fruit and ingredients
which have been peeled and had the
cores removed.
L
A blender is required to mix
together the ingredients.
