Mount the following 1/2W resistors:
- R69, 100K (brown, black, yellow)
- R70 and R71, 680 ohms (blue, grey, brown)
- R82, 3K9 (orange, white, red)
Mount the following 1W resistors:
- R72 and R73, 1K5 (brown, green, red)
- R74, 12K (brown, red, orange)
- R75, 1 ohm (brown, black)
Mount the following 5W resistors:
- R76, 220 ohm
- R77, 560 ohms
- R78 to R81, 0.22 ohms (sometimes marked R22)
Mount the diodes (watch the polarity!):
- D4 to D12, diode of the 1N4148 series or equivalent
- D13 to D16, diode of the 1N4000 series.
- ZD5, 4.3V zener diode.
- ZD6, 6.2V zener diode.
- ZD7 and ZD8, 43V 1.3W zener diodes.
- ZD9 and ZD10, 18V 1.3W zener diodes.
- ZD11 to ZD14, 10V 1.3W zener diodes.
Mount for LD29 and LD30, 3 mm LED's. Watch the polarity. The shortest
connection goes into the hole closest to the flat circular mark.
Mount 5mm LED's for LD31 to LD34 in the same way.
Mount the capacitors:
- C6, C7 and C8, 330pF ceramic (sometimes marked 331)
- C9 to C10, 10nF ceramic or MKT (sometimes marked 103)
- C11 to C16, 100nF ceramic (sometimes marked 104)
- C17 and C18, 220nF MKT (sometimes marked u22)
- C19, 2µ2 MKT
- C43, 33pF ceramic
- C44, 470nF (474, µ47)
- C45, C46, 47nF/63V (µ047, 473, 47000)
Mount the IC sockets for IC5 to IC9.
Mount the print pins for BGND (next to R74), Bout and GND, Bin and GND, LS-
and LS+. Mount the print pins for the connection of the thermal switch TS (later
fitted to the heat sink).
Mount the print pins for the connection of the transistors T10 to T13 (points G,
D, S).
Mount the print pins LD+, LD-, LF, -V, GND and +V for the connection of the
power meters or the LED POWER indicator.
