3.1 Connecting the sensor/sensors to the measurement inter-
face
All CT** flow meters have built-in flow straighteners so the normal rec-
ommended length of 10 Ø of straight tube can be reduced to 8 Ø where
space is limited. The input and output connections should always be of
the same diameter as the flow meter. This will prevent a narrowing or
Venturi effect from taking place. The flow meter can be used for either pe-
riodic or constant testing in both flow directions.
CAUTION
Only use sensors that are approved for the range of pressure
that you are working with. The approved range of pressure for a
specific sensor can be found on the sensor's ratings plate.
NOTICE
Only Webtec connection cables should be used for measuring.
