Intended use
This product is designed to charge and power suitable USB devices. Power is supplied via a
normal household mains socket. The product is protected against overload and short circuits.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. The product must not come into con-
tact with moisture, e.g. in a bathroom, or with rain and other similar liquids.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use
the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged.
In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc.
Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only
together with its operating instructions.

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially ob-
serve the safety information. If you do not follow the safety
instructions and information on proper handling in this ma-
nual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury
or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the war-
ranty/guarantee.
a) Persons / Product
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dan-
gerous playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed
if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
can damage the product.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are
connected to the product.
• Never leave the product and the connected device unattended during use.
• Always turn off the connected device before connecting and disconnecting.
• Remove the product from the mains socket and the connected USB device when
you are not using it.
• The product generates heat during use. Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation
and do not cover the product during use.
• Never short-circuit a USB output.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into
a warm one. The condensation generated could destroy the product. The plug-in
power supply unit also involves danger to life by electric shock! Allow the product
to reach room temperature before connecting it to the power supply and putting it
to use. This may take several hours.
• The mains socket that the device is plugged into must be easily accessible.
• Only connect the power adapter to a normal mains socket connected to the public
supply. Before plugging in the power adapter, check whether the voltage stated on
the power adapter complies with the voltage of your electricity supplier.
• Never connect or disconnect power adapters if your hands are wet.
• When setting up the product, make sure that the cable is not pinched, kinked or
damaged by sharp edges.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the power adapter from the mains socket during
storms.
Operation
• Turn off the USB device and connect it to the product.
• Insert the product into a normal household mains socket. The USB device will now charge.
• Turn off the USB device before removing the product from the mains socket.
• Remove the USB power supply unit from the mains socket after use.
Cleaning

Disconnect the product from the mains socket before cleaning. Use a dry, lint-free cloth to
clean the product.
Disposal
Distributors of electrical and electronic equipment are legally obliged to provide free take-back
of waste. Conrad provides the following return options free of charge (more details on our
website):
• in our Conrad offices
• at the Conrad collection points
• at the collection points of public waste management authorities or the collection points set
End users are responsible for deleting personal data from the WEEE to be disposed of.
It should be noted that different obligations about the return or recycling of WEEE may apply in
countries outside of Germany.

are not covered by these operating instructions, please do not hesitate to contact
our technical support or another qualified specialist.
Ensure that the connection specifications for your USB device comply with
the connection data for the product (see technical data).
Always turn off the USB device that you want to connect before connecting it
to the USB connection.
Ensure that the product is connected properly. If it is not connected properly,
it may become hot or cause an electrical shock or fire.
A Lightning cable is included with the product. You can use it to connect Apple USB
devices that have a corresponding connection. For other types of USB devices, use
the corresponding USB cable for your device.
If you wish to use the USB device, you may now turn it on.
This symbol must appear on any electrical and electronic equipment placed on the
EU market. This symbol indicates that this device should not be disposed of as
unsorted municipal waste at the end of its service life.
Owners of WEEE (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment) shall dispose
of it separately from unsorted municipal waste. Spent batteries and accumulators,
which are not enclosed by the WEEE, as well as lamps that can be removed from
the WEEE in a non-destructive manner, must be removed by end users from the
WEEE in a non-destructive manner before it is handed over to a collection point.
