c) Hot knife chuck & blades
The hot knife is suitable for cutting materials such as polystyrene or nylon ropes.
d) Stencils
Draw the pattern of the stencil with a piece of paper.
Remove the stencil.
Use the engraving or hot stamping tips to iron over the designs with a pencil. Do not use the stencil with the hot tips: it will
deform and melt on contact with the heat.
e) Soldering tip
Screw the soldering tip onto the product.
Switch on the product.
Remove any grease, dirt, oxide or sulfide from the soldering joints.
Use the soldering tip to apply a thin layer of solder to the soldering points and then solder them
together.
Apply fluxing agent if necessary.
Make sure the soldering tips only touch the soldering points.
Clean the soldering tip with a the mild sponge after use.
C. CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the product only with a dry or slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
Do not use abrasive cleaners to clean the unit.
