BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
Before using for the first time, run your appliance once or twice with clean water and without coffee.
Rinse the jug and the filter holder.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Lift the lid Fig.1.
Put the required quantity of water in the tank (making sure not to go above the "maxi" indicator) Fig. 2.
The measurements on the jug and the tank are the same Fig. 3.
The quantity of coffee obtained will be slightly less because the ground coffee absorbs water.
Close the lid again.
Turn the filter holder Fig. 4.
Fit the filter paper after folding down the edges and push it down gently with your hand Fig.5.
Put the coffee in (it can be measured using a measuring spoon). For medium-strength coffee, one measure
(around 6-7 g) per cup is sufficient Fig. 6.
Put the filter holder back in place, click it into place and put back the jug with its lid Fig. 7.
WARNING: the presence of the lid on the jug is essential to ensure control of the drip
prevention system and avoid the filter holder overflowing.
Switch the coffee maker on by pressing the On/Off button. The red light switches on and the cycle begins
Fig. 8.
You can stop the cycle at any time by pressing the On/Off button again (the red light switches off).
At the end of the cycle (i.e. when there is no more water in the tank), the heat will be maintained until it
turns off automatically after about 30minutes. The red light will switch off.
WARNING: Do not touch the filter while the water is running.
Once the coffee has run through, remove the jug. The automatic drip prevention systems starts to operate.
An insulating grill on the spout considerably reduces heat loss and preserves all the flavour of the coffee
over time.
Put the jug on the hot plate to keep the coffee warm.
WARNING: do not put water in the coffee maker when it is hot, leave it to cool down for
approximately 10 minutes.
