Close the fuel tank.
Starting the generator / only with AE8G280DN /
Check the immediate vicinity of the generator.
The circuit breaker must be in the „OFF" position.
! Do not connect any electricity to the generator befo-
re starting. appliance.
Turn the fuel cock (4) to the „ON" position; = turn the
tap to the vertical position
Move the choke lever (5) to the „START" position;
= move the lever to the left. If the engine is already
warm, there is no need to move the choke lever.
Turn the engine switch (7) to the „I" position (on)
Slowly pull the starter handle (8) until it engages and
then pull hard.
After starting, allow the starter handle to return to its
original position on its own.
Warm the generator idle for about 3 minutes.
Set the circuit breaker to „ON".
CAUTION: NEVER PULL THE STARTING HANDLE
WHEN THE DEVICE IS STARTED. THE ENGINE
WILL BE DAMAGED.
When the engine starts and is sufficiently warm,
return the choke lever (5) to the original position
„OPERATION" = move the lever to the right.

The generator starts from electric starting.

Switching off the generator
! Before switching off the generator, switch off and
disconnect all electricity. appliances from the gene-
rator.
Before switching off, let the generator run for a short
time without load so that the unit can „cool down".
Turn the engine switch (7) to the „0" (end) position.
Turn the fuel tap (4) to the „OFF" position, = turn the
tap to the horizontal position.
Appliance connection
Start the engine.
Check that the voltmeter or indicator light shows the
correct voltage.
Before connecting to the generator, turn off the switch
of the electrical appliance (s).
Insert the plug of the electrical appliance (s) into the
socket.
Turn on the electrical appliance.
Electrical equipment (chainsaws, drills, etc.) may
have a higher current consumption (W or A) than
indicated on the nameplate when used under difficult
conditions.
! Do not exceed the specified load limit of
2800W/3000W..
Improper connection between the generator and the
device can damage the device or even cause a fire.
! The generator contains a protective device against
overload.
If the protection device switches off the generator
during operation, reduce the electrical power you take
from the generator.
Use of DC voltage
- The generator is equipped with a 12V DC voltage
output (10), which is used to charge car batteries.
! Do not use the DC voltage output for purposes other
than charging car batteries.
To use this output, connect the end of the included
cables to the DC voltage output (10).
When charging the batteries, follow the instructions
that came with your battery.
