CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION: Before performing any maintenance, stop
the engine, allow it to cool, and disconnect the ignition
cable from the spark plug.

personnel, resp. authorized service organization.
- Regularly check the generator for damage.
- Regularly remove dust and dirt from the generator
- Store the generator in a dry place and out of reach

- Push the measuring cup back in and seal it.
- For a new engine, change the engine oil after the
first 5-8 hours of operation
CAUTION - Avoid excessive contact of your skin with
engine oil. Wear gloves when working and wash your
hands thoroughly after work!
Air filter
-! A dirty air filter prevents the passage of air, which
results in a reduction in engine power. Therefore,
clean the filter regularly.
- Remove the screws, remove the filter cover and
remove the filter
Remove the foam insert of the air filter, clean it well in
kerosene, squeeze and dry.
Gently moisten it with clean engine oil.
-! If the filter is torn, damaged or cannot be cleaned,
replace it with a new one.
Spark plug check
WARNING:
Before replacing or checking the spark plug, switch
off the engine and let it cool down!
The spark plug must be clean and with the correct
distance between the contacts to achieve efficient
engine operation.
Disconnect the cable connector from the spark plug.
Unscrew the spark plug using the spark plug wrench.
Do not use any other tools.
Visually inspect the spark plug. If it is damaged, repla-
ce it with a new one (recommended distance between
contacts is 0.70mm - 0.80mm). The recommended
type of spark plug is F6TC.
Do not bend the center electrode to change the gap.
Screw in the spark plug with a torque of 25 Nm - 30
Nm
! Improper tightening of the spark plug can result in
reduced engine power or permanent engine damage.
Fuel filter maintenance
Set the fuel cock to the „OFF" position.
Thoroughly clean the fuel filter container, blow it out
with compressed air in the direction of the arrow.
Firmly install the new rubber pad and filter bowl.
