4. The selected sound continues quickly as long
as the Locate button is pressed, for up to 12
seconds.
5. To choose a sound among four types, use the
Sound button
6. If the Run/Point button is pushed down, the
receiver causes double beep every 7 seconds
while the dog is running. While the dog is on
point or stationary, it double beeps every 2
seconds.
7. In case the Point button is pressed, the receiver
will be silent while the dog is moving but it
will emit a double beep every 2 seconds when
the dog points or becomes stationary.
NOTE 1 : If you press the Locate button in the
Run/Point or Point only mode, the beeper mode
will be canceled.
NOTE 2 : The beeper sound can be changed with
the Sound button only if the unit should be
working under the Run/Point or Point only
mode

FAMILIARIZING THE DOG TO THE
BEEPER SOUND
Turn the beeper collar on and leave it outside
the dog's kennel area for about a half-hour.
Repeat this several times, until you can see that
the dog disregards the beeper.
Next, fill the speaker horn with tissue paper to
muffle the sound. Fit the beeper collar on the dog.
Gradually, remove some of the tissue paper as the
dog becomes accustomed to the beeping sound.
Now, when you take him hunting, he will be
accustomed to the beeper sound.
