Function

The sensor has an integrated electronic circuit which, via an oscillator circuit,
emits a weak HF signal that changes depending on whether the sensor element is
surrounded by water or by liquid.
The sensor is mounted suspended. Thereby, the switching point of the sensor
must be located a few centimeters above the water zero line.
The sensor can distinguish between air and water, but not between air and fat.
