2. Safety notes
For some customers, EDDYTHERM 2x will be the first induction heater they
have worked with. The following information will familiarize you with
the main features of the device. In particular, you should read the safety
recommendations carefully and make sure you understand them.
2.1 Symbols in these instructions
The following symbols are used in these operating instructions to draw
your attention to important sections. These sections point out possible
sources of danger, or provide useful information on how to operate the
equipment.

alerts you to danger that may result in personal
injury.

alerts you to danger arising from incorrect operation
that may lead to property damage.

1.2 CE conformity and EMC
All versions of EDDYTHERM 2x are in compliance with Directive
2006/95/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council relating to
electrical equipment designed for use within certain voltage limits,
Directive 2004/108/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council
relating to electromagnetic compatibility and Directive 2002/95/EC
relating to restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in
electrical and electronic equipment.
