unassisted (about 4 – 5 months old).

Sit down.
With unsnapped/unbuckled
carrier on your lap, place baby
onto carrier facing away
from you with legs strad-
dling carrier.
BE PREPARED FOR BABY'S
SUDDEN MOVEMENT!
Support baby's chest while
bringing the carrier up toward
baby's chest.
Fasten the side-entry buckle
(see page 2). Make sure it
fastens with an audible click.
Fold head support
