5. FITTING THE MAIN POST.-
Take the screws (71) and the washers
(57), (70) out of the main body (1),
bring the main post (2) up to the boss
on the main body, and connect
terminals (48-49).
Insert the main post (2) in the boss on
the main body (1) and put the screws
(71), along with the washers (57), (70)
back in, Fig.6, making sure that the
handlebar is straight and then tighten
securely.
Bring the handlebar (5) close to the
main post (2), Fig.7.
Pass
the
hand-grip
through the slot on the post, and pull
them out through the top.
Place the covers (13), (14) using the
screws (52), (51), the bushing (46)
and the knob (16).
6. FITTING THE ELECTRONIC
MONITOR.-
Remove the screws (69) from the
back of the monitor (9), connect the
terminals (48), (50) to those on the
monitor (9), Fig.8. Place the monitor
(9) on the plate on the main post,
making sure not to snag any of the
wires, fit the previously removed
screws (69) and tighten, Fig.8.

LEVELLING.-
Once the unit has been placed into its
final position, make sure that it sits flat
on the floor and that it is level. This is
achieved by screwing the adjustable
foot (A) up or down, Fig.9.
MOVEMENT & STORAGE.-
The unit is equipped with wheels (B)
to make it easier to move about. The
two wheels at the front of the unit
make it easier to place the unit in any
chosen position, as shown in Fig.10.
Store it in a dry place, preferably not
subject to changes in temperature.
MAINS CONNECTION.-
Insert the jack on the transformer (73)
into the connection hole on the main
body (bottom, rear of the machine)
and then plug the transformer into a
220 V mains supply, Fig.11.
