Daily, purge the air tank of all air and moisture to prevent corrosion. To do so, slowly
and carefully unscrew (no more than four threads) the tank drain valve (8) until the
compressed air and condensation begin to be released from the tank. Allow
sufficient time for all of the air and condensation to escape from the tank. Then,
firmly re-tighten the drain valve.
CAUTION! All maintenance, service, or repairs not mentioned in this manual must
only be performed by a qualified service technician.
To replace the fuse (2), unscrew the fuse and replace with a 250-V, 3-A fuse.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Compressor will not start.
Low pressure.
Safety valve releasing.
Pressure switch will not
turn off compressor at
100PS I.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Prior to inspection or compressor maintenance, turn off power switch
and disconnect plug from power source.
WARNING: RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY. Always disconnect tool from power
source before making any adjustments, or installing or changing accessories.
CAUTION: Tool service must be preformed only by qualified repair personnel.
Service or maintenance performed by unqualified personnel could result in a risk
of injur y. When having a tool serviced, ask that only identical re placement parts be
used. Follow instructions in the Maintenance section of this service manual. Use
of unauthorized parts or failure to follow Maintenance Instructions may create a risk
of electrical shock or injury.
Cause
Blown fuse.
Loose electrical connections.
Defective pressure switch
(part 51 in Chart).
Air leak in safety valve.
Drain valve not fully closed.
Defective safety valve.

Solution
Replace fuse.
Make sure compressor is plugged into a
working, 120-volt, grounded, electrical
outlet.
Have a qualified service technician
replace (part 51 in Chart)
Replace safety valve.
Close drain valve.
Replace safety valve.
Immediately unplug compressor from its
electrical outlet. Do not operate
compressor until a qualified service
technician can replace pressure switch
