Each product and its packaging are usually marked with a specific production lot number (LOT) and a
reference number (REF). Please always indicate LOT and REF in case of a complaint.

Scope of Delivery

The scope of delivery depends on the product selected.

User's Inspection

• Immediately upon receipt, the goods must be checked for completeness and potential damage in
transit.
•
Notice of any such damage must be given immediately.
Before initial use, before each subsequent use and before returning the instruments for repair,
maintenance or service:
•
Remove protective caps or protective covers if present.
•
The instruments must be cleaned, disinfected and sterilized according to our reprocessing instructions,
see section 5 "Cleaning and Maintenance", page 23.

Warranty

Our Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale effective at the time shall apply. Agreements diverging from
these Standard Terms and Conditions do not restrict the legal rights of the buyer.
Any warranty exceeding the above provisions shall require a contractual form and shall exclude
component-related vandalism, software updates and consumables.
Gebrüder Martin, as the manufacturer of the products, accepts no liability for direct or consequential
damage caused by improper use, handling, processing, sterilization or maintenance. Unauthorized
instrument repair (by firms or persons not specifically authorized by Gebrüder Martin to perform such
work) shall void the warranty given! The products must never be modified.
Non-observance of these notices, as well as improper handling or use of products supplied by us, will void
your rights under the warranty. Consequently, Gebrüder Martin shall not be liable for any resulting damage
in such cases.
