The ORITEL RW 511 directional wattmeter enables the user to verify transmitters and "feeder antenna"
units in HF ranges rapidly and efficiently. It is specifically designed for installation and maintenance work
on single sideband (SSB) transmission stations.
It measures the power circulating on a 50 W impedance coaxial line and the power reflected by the cable
and antenna or the load.
The instrument provides a direct reading of :
- the power delivered by a transmitter on its load,
- the power reflected by this load.
Robust and showerproof, a protective shoulder bag is available on option. Battery-operated, it can be
used in a laboratory or on site.

Front
(see 6. Attachment)
Female N input socket to connect the instrument to the transmitter output by means of a 50 W
impedance coaxial cable.
Female N output socket to connect the instrument to the transmitter antenna or to an adapted load
if used for measurement in a laboratory.
A moving coil galvanometer with 5 measurement scales, and a "BATTERY TEST" verification "zone".
4-position incident power switch, to select the range adapted to the power of the transmitter between
30 W and 1000 W full scale.
