- Make sure the cable is in good condition and is attached properly.
- Do not use the hand puller if the cable is worn, frayed.
- Do not move the vehicle to pull a load.
- Please check and respect the maximum load listed on the label of the hand puller, neglecting the
capacity marked on the hook.
- If the steel cable is worn out, it must be replaced with an original or same specifications' cable, by
an authorized service centre. Do not replace the cable with a cable of lesser strength
3.5- About safety
- Keep away from the cable pulling line. If the cable should slip or break, it would "whiplash" along
this line.
- Keep hands, clothing, hair and jewelry clear of the hand puller when in use
3.6- About the limits
- Never exceed the pulling limits of the hand puller.
IV. GETTING STARTED
4.1- Mounting the hand puller
The hand puller is not intended to be permanently mounted.
4.2- Pulling out the cable Fig.2)
Lock hook (1b) to a rigid and solid anchor point (a).
Depress the spring (5) in the direction of the arrow
(see detail « A »).
Release the ratchet drive pawl (4) from the ratchet
wheel (3).
Hold firmly the handle.
Depress the lock lever (2) (see detail « B ») and, at
the same time, pull the hand pullet to unwind the

steel cable to desired length.
Note: When unwinding the cable, always inspect it throughout its whole length for signs of frays,
damages...
4.3- Rewinding the cable (Fig.3)
Release the lock lever (2).
Depress the spring (5) in the direction of the arrow
(see detail « A »): so as to re-engage the drive pawl
ratchet on the ratchet wheel.
Lock hook (1a) on the anchor point of the load (b).
Push handle lever (6) up and down to rewind the
cable and pull the load.
