To help maintain better control of your sensor when it is out of your hands,
use both the Sensor Cable Clip to clip the sensor to the patient's clothing
and the Alignment Bar Cable Clips to the cable to the Aiming Bar. In the
event that the patient ejects the sensor, it will not land on the floor.
If necessary, twist the ends of the clip to form an alligator-style clip.
Take hold of the sensor cable approximately 18–24 inches (45–60 cm) from
the sensor. Gently slide the cable through the opening. Place the cable into
the groove.
CAUTION
CAUTION
Do not use metal bib alligator clips to hold sensor cable. Metal clips
may damage the sensor cable.
Clip the holder on to the patient's clothing as shown. You may also clip the
cable to your own clothing when you move the sensor from one operatory
to another.
WARNING
Aiming Bar Clips are small parts that may present a choking/
swallowing hazard. Ensure that the Cable Bar Clips are snuggly
mounted to the bar used with the Positioning System Sheaths.
