How to install your Gigaset smart care system
The sensors for the Gigaset smart care solution can be installed very easily with no
drilling or screwing. Use the smart care app to configure alarm scenarios and so set up
the smart care system to your very own needs. Please follow the app instructions -
then you can use your Gigaset smart care system.

Installation process

Book the monthly service
•
Download and install the Gigaset smart care app
•
Register the user account with a password. If you have already registered a user
account with Gigaset, you can use it.

Install and set up the base station
•
Specify the day/night cycle
•
Configure the alarm scenarios
The smart care app takes you through the steps necessary for setting up alarm sce-
narios - installation of relevant sensors, setting up sensors and configuration of
scenarios.

The base station connects the
sensors to the smart care sys-
tem. It transfers sensor informa-
tion to the Gigaset Cloud. The
Gigaset smart care app formats
the information for displaying
on your smartphone.
The universal universal sensor
provides information when a
door or window is opened or
closed.
In an alarm situation, the E380A Care alarm phone automatically triggers,
in addition to the notification on the smartphone, an alarm call to up to
four individually configurable phone numbers.
The phone is included in the smart care system plus or can be upgraded
for the other smart care packages.
Motion detector
The motion motion detec-
tor registers when some-
body moves. Small pets (up
to about 25 kg) are ignored.
Remote control button
The button remote control
button enables alarm notifi-
cations to be triggered
directly. Pressing the switch
and on the smartphones of
relatives and friends dis-
plays an alarm.
