Troubleshooting
If the device should stop working properly, fi rst check whether you are able to correct the
problem yourself. If you are not, contact the customer service department.
Do not try to repair a faulty device yourself!
Problem
The device does not work.
The food does not cook.
The food is too dry or burnt.
Development of odours or
smoke
Possible cause / solution

Is the device switched off? Press the
switch on the device.

Is the plug inserted in the mains socket correctly?

Is the mains socket defective? Try another mains
socket.

Check the fuse of your mains connection.

When the device is fi rst used: Any coating residues
that may remain may result in a small amount of
odour or smoke development. This is normal. Allow
the device to heat up for approx. 15 minutes. Make
sure that the room is well ventilated as you do this!

The device has already been used: Is the interior of
the oven or are the covers of the heating elements
dirty or contaminated? Follow the instructions in the
"Cleaning and Storage" chapter.
