  • Page 3 The motor will restart when it cools down. If the motor continues to shut off and restart, have the hood serviced. For best capture of cooking impurities, the bottom of the hood should be a minimum of 23½” and a maximum of 30½” above the cooking surface. See “Install Mounting Bracket” section for mounting restrictions.
  • Page 4 OPERATION Hood Controls The lights and blower are operated using the (5) push buttons located on the underside of the hood. Fig. 1. It can also be controlled with an optional ACR Series remote control. Ten Minute Delay Press Speed 1, Speed 2, or Speed 3 for two (2) seconds when the blower is running at the selected speed.
  • Page 5 HALOGEN BULBS This range hood requires two halogen bulbs (Type MR11, 12 Volt, 20 Watt Max, G4 2-pin Base). WARNING: Always switch off the electrical supply before carrying out any operation on the appliance. To remove old bulbs: Pull downward (DO NOT ROTATE). Fig. 2. FIG.

  • Page 7 STRUCTURAL CEILING JOISTS OR 2nd STORY FLOOR JOISTS REQUIREMENTS 1. Install a 2-in. x 8-in. wooden support directly above and centered over the cooktop. Securely fasten this support to ceiling joists or second story floor joists. It must be capable of supporting the weight of the hood.
  • Page 8 NOTE: For optimal performance, the hood must be mounted no less than 23½” and no more than 30½” above the cooktop. 3. Adjust height of downrod according to ceiling height and desired distance above cooktop. See chart and Fig. 8 4.

  • Page 23 EXIGENCES SOLIVES DU PLAFOND OU DU PLANCHER DU 2 ÉTAGE STRUCTURELLES 1. Installez un support de bois de 5 cm  x 20 cm (2 po x 8 po) directement au-dessus de la surface de cuisson et centré sur celle-ci. Fixez solidement ce support aux solives du plafond ou aux solives du plancher de l’étage supérieur.

Sujete firmemente este soporte a las vigas del techo o a las vigas del segundo piso. Debe ser capaz de soportar el peso de la campana.
