CAUTION: At a combination of temperature and
humidity that approaches the dew point there
may be some condensation at the door gasket of
the freezer. This is normal as a result of the
increased ambient humidity and is not
serviceable at the unit. If the condensation
persists we recommend consulting facilities to
improve ambient conditions
Alarm Battery
Maintenance
Unit comes with (4) AA Alkaline 1.5 V batteries. The back-up
time for the alarm battery system is 60 hours. Battery must be
replaced after an active alarm or after every 12 months,
whichever is the earliest.
Steps to follow for battery replacement:
1. Locate the knurled/thumb screw on the left side of the
header panel.
2. Remove the knurled/thumb screw by hand.
3. Once the screws are removed, wear hand gloves and
gently pull the bracket out until you see the batteries
completely.
General Purpose Freezers
4. Replace the batteries and gently close the bracket. Once
the bracket is closed, Align the holes on the bracket and
header panel, screw using the knurled/thumb screw.

Preparation for Storage

If the unit is going to be stored in an off condition, allow the
unit to warm up and dry out with the door open before moving
into storage.
When the freezer is placed in intermediate storage, make sure
that the ambient temperature is between 15°C and 32°C
(59°F to 90°F) and the maximum relative humidity does not
exceed 60 %, non-condensing.
