• First release the two bolts and then the adjuster screw
to release the belt tension.
• Now unscrew the bolts and dismantle the belt guard.
• Disconnect the water hose from the blade guard.
• Remove the belt from the belt pulley.
• The cutting head is now loose and can be removed
from the machine.
• Remove the cutting head and attach it to the other
side of the cutting arm.
• Fit the belt guard to the reversed cutting head.
• Tighten the drive belt. See instructions in the section
"Maintenance".
• A longer water hose has to be fitted to the machine if
wet cutting is carried out.

Connect the cooling water

Connect the water hose to the water supply. Refer to
'Technical Data' for the lowest permitted water flow. Note
that the machine's hose nipple is fitted with a filter.

ASSEMBLING AND ADJUSTMENTS

Water supply

When the throttle lockout (1) is depressed, the water valve
will open.
The water valve remains open and the throttle lockout (1)
remains depressed as long as the throttle (2) is held
pressed in.

Water dosage

The water flow can be adjusted during operations with
your thumb.
Ample water flow is needed for maximal blade life.
CAUTION! The water pressure and water flow is
extremely important for the blade's cooling and service
life. Inadequate cooling shortens the life of and the
blade.

Dry cutting

• Turn the switch on the right-hand side 180° to redirect
the water coolant.
• Stop the flow of water with the knob on the left-hand
side. The water coolant will now go through the return
hose instead.
