14 - assembling the seat unit
Unfold the seat (a).
Press the buttons (b) on each sides of the footrest then lift the footrest to its highest position (c).
Push the lower arms into the hinge assembly (d) until the spring loaded pins locate in the holes in
the lower arms (e).
Fasten the fastener flap (f) over the support bar under the seat and secure both ends of the flap
with press studs (g).

- fitting and removing the seat unit
Place the seat unit on to the mounting points on each side of the chassis. Push down (a) until a
"click" is heard and the mountings are locked in place.
To remove the seat unit from the chassis, press the buttons on each side of the mountings (b) then
lift the seat unit free (c).
The seat unit can be fitted facing forwards (1) or backwards (2) and backwards (3) or forwards (4)
with the handle reversed.

- fitting and removing the seat unit hood
Fitting the hood for the first time: Push the arms of the hood into the mountings on the
pushchair (a). Fasten the zip (b) to secure the hood to the pushchair frame.
Removing the hood: IMPORTANT unfasten the zip around the pushchair frame BEFORE
removing the hood (c). Pull the hood mountings off the fitting on pushchair handle hinge (d).
Fitting the hood: Push the hood mountings onto the fitting on pushchair handle hinge (e) until
they lock in place. Fasten the zip (b) to secure the hood to the pushchair frame.

- using the seat unit hood
Pull the hood forward (a) to the raised position.
Pull the hood forward again (b) to its extended position.
Push the hood back to lower (c). Fasten the toggle then push the hood back again to fully close.
The hood mounting bar can be used to make cleaning the hood easier. Remove the hood from the
pushchair (See Step 16). IMPORTANT unfasten the zip around the pushchair frame BEFORE
removing the hood. Push the hood mounting bar off the hood mounts (d). Slide the hood
mounting bar out of the hood (e). Refitting is a reversal of this procedure. Ensure the mounting bar
is fitted in the correct orientation.
18 - using the harness
A five point harness is provided to restrain your child. To unfasten push the button on the buckle
(a) and pull the clips clear.
To fasten the harness push the shoulder strap clips onto the waist strap clips (b) then push the
waist strap clips into the buckle until they lock in place (c).
Sliding adjusters are fitted on the shoulder straps, waist straps and crotch strap (d). The harness
should be carefully adjusted so that it fits your child comfortably. To adjust to the smallest size on
the waist strap you will need to thread the adjusters through the "D" ring.
To adjust the shoulder strap height, unzip the liner on the back of the seat, locate the strap ends
(e) and pass through the slots, reposition to the desired height and pass the strap ends back
through relevant slot.
To remove the harness unzip the liner on the back of the seat, locate the strap ends (e & f) and
pass through the slots. Under the seat, pass the crotch strap end through its slot (g). The harness
can now be removed from the seat.
Refitting the harness is a reversal of this procedure.
'D' rings are fitted at the end of each waist strap should you wish to attach a separate harness
complying to BS EN 13210.
