World time travel alarm clock
• The alarm tone is interrupted and the back-light switches on briefly.
and Zz are flashing on the display.
• To deactivate the alarm function slide the operating switch to OFF.
RESET button
• If the unit does not work properly use a pin to press the RESET button.
• All settings will be deleted.
Locking mechanism
• Slide the operating switch to LOCK and all of the keys are locked.
Daylight saving time / standard time
• To set the time of a selected town from standard time to daylight saving
time, press the DST button and either DSTN or DSTS appears on the display
(DSTN for the northern hemisphere, DSTS for the southern hemisphere).
• All cities that are located in the respective hemisphere and also use day-
light saving time are then re-set automatically.
• To re-set the time from daylight saving time to standard time, press the
DST button again and DSTN/DSTS disappears.
• If the alarm clock is first set up during daylight saving time, please set the
clock to standard time and press the DST button when setting is complete.
The correct time will be displayed.

• You can position the alarm clock with the case open.
Battery replacement
• Replace the batteries when the display becomes weak or the alarm level
declines.
• Use alkaline batteries only. Observe correct polarity. Low batteries should
be changed soon to avoid the damage resulting from a leaking battery.
Batteries contain harmful acids. Wear protective glasses and gloves when
handling with leaked batteries.
Attention: Please do not dispose of old electronic devices and empty bat-
teries in household waste. To protect the environment, take them to your
retail store or to appropriate collection sites according to national or local
regulations.
Maintenance
• Keep the instrument in a dry place.
• Do not expose the instrument to extreme temperatures, vibration or shock.
• Clean it with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
• Please reset the instrument and follow the battery installation procedure
if the instrument does not work properly. Change the batteries.
