SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Please read this manual carefully prior to operating the lawn mower. It contains important safety,
maintenance and operating instructions. Read these instructions thoroughly even if you are
already familiar with lawn mower use.
OPERATOR SAFETY
- Do not operate the lawn mower when you are tired, ill or under the influence of medication,
alcohol or drugs.
- Always wear a safety face shield or goggles that meet ANSI Z87.1 requirements.
- Always wear safety protective equipment such as snug fitting clothing (jacket, pants) gloves,
boots with steel toe caps and non-slip soles. Lawn mower chaps add a layer of safety. Do not
wear shorts, loose clothing, scarves, jewellery, sandals, or go barefoot. Loose clothing may
become tangled in branches or the lawn mower.
WARNING
Read all safety warnings and instructions. When using electric lawn mowers, basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, damage and injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
The term "power tool" in the warnings refers to your 120 V operated (corded) lawn mower.
