MAINTENANCE

Safety warnings for maintenance

Maintenance of the stove must be performed at least once a year and should be planned in advance with the
Technical Assistance Service.
PARTS / FREQUENCY
Combustion chamber
In some conditions, such as turning the stove on and off or inappropriate use, the combustion products can
contain small soot particles that build up in the smoke evacuation system. This can reduce the cross-section of
Combustion grille
the smoke duct and pose a fire risk.
Ash drawer
The smoke evacuation system must be inspected and cleaned at least once a year.
Glass
The maintenance operations must be carried out when the stove is cold and with the electrical power supply
Extraction duct
disconnected.
Before completing any maintenance operation, adopt the following precautions:
Make sure that all stove parts are cold.
Make sure that the ashes are completely cold.
Always operate with equipment that is appropriate for maintenance.
When maintenance is finished, re-install all of the dis-assembled parts before restarting operation.

Combustion chamber cleaning
To clean the ash drawer, proceed as follows:
step
action
The stove requires a simple yet frequent cleaning in order to guarantee suitable yield and regular operation. Vacuum the
1
combustion chamber every day using a bin ash vacuum, making sure that the ashes are completely cold.
Cleaning the brazier - brazier holder

Cleaning the ash drawer

Remove the brazier and the ash deposited in the combustion chamber and brazier holder. A suitable vacuum cleaner may be used for
this purpose. This operation must be carried out daily, especially in case of accumulated unburnt matter, to ensure perfect combustion
conditions, since the brazier holes allow the flow of combustion air.
Also make sure the secondary air holes in the side pipes of the brazier holder are free of any combustion residuals and ash.
When necessary, clean the fire door glass for visually checking the flame inside the combustion chamber.
Brazier dirty
The brazier must rest on the brazier holder and precisely on the entire ring band without air gaps.
