VI.- PRODUCTS TO HELP YOU CARE FOR YOUR STOVE.
INDUSTRIAS HERGÓM, S.A. can supply you with a range of products to help you
keep your stove in good condition:
- Heat resistant paint, for wrought iron pieces and plates.
- Heat resistant putty, to make your stove airtight and to improve the seals.
- Anti-soot, a powerful catalyst which facilitates the elimination of unburned
residues.
- Fire lighters, an indispensable product if you need to light your fire in a
rapid and clean manner.
- Glass cleaner, the ideal product to eliminate burnt grease from the glass
panes of stoves, chimneys, etc.
Standard stove built in accordance with the specifications of regulation UNE-EN
13240:2002 "Solid fuel stoves – Requirements and methods of testing", amended
by UNE-EN 13240/AC and UNE-EN 13240:2002/A2.

WARNINGS! The stove must not be used as an incinerator and no other fuel
(plastics, coal etc.) may be used. You must use the recommended fuel.
The wall beheind the fireplace should be category M0 / A1 at least up to 50mm on
either side of the centre of the fireplace and from the floor to the ceiling. M0 /A1
material should be top quality, preferably brick or refractory conSantorini/cement or
fireproof drywall paneling that is not affected by heat. Any paint or material applied
must be category M0 and resist temperatures above 150ºC.
The fireplace should be attached to the wall in such a way that the fixing system is
attached to bricks or blocks. If attached directliy to a cement wall, the heat may
cause the material to collapse and the fireplace would cease to be securely attached
to the wall.
