step 1:
Clean the aquarium and accessories thoroughly
with clean tap water and rinse the aquarium
completely clean. Never use cleaning products
or alcohol, and always use a perfectly clean
bucket.
step 3:
Fill the aquarium slowly with clean tap water.
Place a plate or glass beneath the water stream
to prevent dislodging of the gravel or nutrient
substrate. Add water until the aquarium is half
full, place the plants in the aquarium, and then
finish filling the aquarium.
step 5:
After filling the aquarium, and with every water change
always add water conditioner to remove toxic substances
and protect your fishes. Add bacterial culture as well
to help your biological filter to start and maintain water
quality. The Superfish Aquarium Start Kit provides all
you need to successfully start up your aquarium
and includes an extensive manual how to do so.

step 2:
Cover the bottom with clean aquarium gravel
of your choice. For plant aquariums, first add
a nutrient substrate and then cover it.
step 4:
For tropical fish you need to use an aquarium heater,
the Home design incorporates a space in the filter
area where you can install the heater. The Superfish
NanoHeater 50W is a perfect choice for your aquarium.
To install the heater; take the light of the unit and feed
the heater cable through the space provided. First
carefully read the heater manual before use!
