1. Safety instructions
Any person who is involved in the using or servicing the drum trolley must be familiar with the contents of
the user manual.
No changes, extensions or modifications may be made to the product without the manufacturer's
authorisation. No liability is accepted for changes made without the manufacturer's authorisation and in
such cases the warranty will cease to be valid.
National directives and safety regulations must be complied with.
- The drum trolley may only be used by persons who have been instructed and trained.
- The drum trolley must not be used to transport persons or open drums.
- The specified load capacity must not be exceeded.
- Take the greatest care when moving over uneven ground.
- Do not travel over sloping surfaces.
- Wear suitable protective clothing (gloves, safety shoes, protective goggles etc).
- Only use manually and do not exceed walking speed (<3 km/h).
2. Application and intended use
The drum trolley is used for the safe internal transport of 205 l ribbed steel drums in accordance with EN
15750-2, 205 l lidded steel drums in accordance with EN 15750-1 and 205 l plastic lidded drums.
The drum trolley FKR-S2 can be used to set drums down on spill pallets (max. spill pallet height 260 mm).
Warning:
There is no applicable standard for plastic drums. The operator must therefore check and monitor
that the drum trolley is suitable for the drums to be transported. It must be especially ensured that
the upper edge of the drum is securely gripped and the drum stands securely on the receiving
forks of the drum trolley.
If this is not the case, the drum trolley must not be used.
3. Technical Description
The drum trolley has a galvanized steel structure.
Increased safety thanks to support/steering castor(s).
Drums can be placed on spill pallets with max. spill pallet height 260 mm (FKR-S2)

5. Operation

Note: Depending on the drum design (steel or plastic
drum) the safety hook can be used, see photo.
Place the drum trolley centrally in front of the
drum to be transported
Tilt the drum trolley towards the drum
Hook the safety hook onto the edge of the drum
Slowly pull the drum trolley backwards, supporting it with your foot, the receiving forks of the trolley
must grip under the drum.
Make sure that the receiving forks are under the drum
The drum trolley receiving forks must be fully under the drum before the drum trolley may be
tipped.
Do not exceed walking speed (approx. 3 km/h).
