Assembling
Assemble the elements: kettle + connection + cooler with dishes. Screw firmly the fixing screws.
Filling of the inner wall
Check if the outlet tap (9) is well closed. Next open the control valve (7) and the tap of the filling funnel (3). Fill
the inner wall by pouring water into this funnel. This filling is completed when water comes out of the control valve
next close both valves (3) and (7).
Distilling
Fill the kettle with the liquid to distil. The maximum filling volume is equal at 80% of the total volume. So, in this
kettle this is 20 or 100 litres maximum.
Begin to heat up (12) the kettle. Cooling water needs to flow constantly through the cooler with dishes.
Distillation starts already at the temperature of 78°C. The maximum temperature = 98°C.
Check constantly the pressure onto the manometer (4) during distillation. Best results are obtained at a pressure
of 0,2 bar. If the maximum pressure is reached (indicated onto the manometer) the security valve (6) will open
automatically and the superfluous pressure will be released.
After distillation
It is recommended to evacuate the water inside the inner wall by the outlet valve (9). Especially when there's frost
danger.
