There are 10 LED lights on the top cover.

If seven (7) LEDs are off, this means that the input power is less than 9.5V
(normally 12V).

It is recommended to disconnect the engine from the batteries to prevent
damage to the battery, then charge the battery.
Adjusting motor depth
Position the depth adjusting ring so that the blades of the propeller are
between 150 mm and 300 mm below the water surface.
Lifting the engine
It is recommended to disconnect the battery from the engine before lifting it
to prevent it from accidentally running. Press and hold the rocker arm with
one hand and use the other hand to push the handle down in order to lift the
engine and remove it from the water. Then, release the rocker arm to fix the
motor in the new position.
Lowering the engine
It is recommended to disconnect the battery from the engine before lifting it
to prevent it from accidentally running. Press and hold the rocker arm with
one hand and gently pull the handle upwards with the other hand to lower the
engine into the water. Release the rocker arm as soon as the motor is in the
desired position to fix it in this position.
Attention: Clean the engine with fresh water after it has been used in salt
water as this will reduce the likelihood of corrosion.
WARNING: Danger of injuries from rotating screw
Always disconnect the engine from the batteries when the
engine is not in the water.
